2nd Edition Conference History – Budapest 2021

The 2nd edition was supposed to be held in Budapest from 19-21 March 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, presenters from Hungary, Poland, Germany, South Africa, Indonesia, and the US asked the organizing committee to shift to the virtual presentation format. Thus, the 2nd edition was held entirely online.

The 2nd edition explored how communities adapt and how technology helps this process. Main discussions covered the effects of digital tools on society, studies on youth and identity growth, and the latest ideas in city planning and development. The main themes included themes such as:

  • Digital Sociology
  • Youth and Identity
